CHRISTINE JORGENSEN: [CAST] Late 20s, White, Transgender Woman. America’s first openly trans “It Girl.” Incredibly self-possessed and polished but struggles with stage fright. Has a hidden vulnerability just below the surface. Throughout the course of the show, forms a meaningful relationship with Myles. Some singing and tap dancing required.
MYLES BELL: [CAST] White, male, 50s-early 60s. A former Vaudeville star who has fallen on hard times. A typical mid-20th century guy's guy and entertainer who learns to accept Christine over the course of the play and collaborate with her as well. Able to sing, play the piano, and tap.
CHRISTINE UNDERSTUDY: [THERE IS AN OFFER OUT ON THIS ROLE] To understudy Christine Jorgensen. Late 20s, White, Transgender Woman.
